Based on the feedback that I have collected from the questionnaire, I decided to tailor the design of my poster to the tastes of my target market so that the poster will attract them to get my local newspaper.
- This rough sketch shows briefly what my poster could like. The crown at the top of the name of the newspaper 'Sydenham Youth' is suitable to the target market because it is a newspaper for the youth which makes the children joining hands together seem relevant. The crown is also the same logo for the crown of the borough of Lewisham. I thought that this would be suitable to use as Sydenham is in the borough of Lewisham. However, there could be issues with copyright.
- The blue background links to the idea of the borough of Lewisham and also was a popular choice of colour in my questionnaire.
- Underneath the name of the newspaper will have a catchy sentence of what the poster is about and who it is targeting.
- The 'New' imitation of a sticker in the corner resembles the features of a magazine and makes the poster seem more visual and something to attract the target market.
