Improved newspaper layout

Taking into consideration research of newspaper conventions, I decided to improve my initial newspaper layout sketch, being specific about the dimensions, the contents of the newspaper and exactly where they would go. Bearing in mind the tastes of my target audience and creating a layout that will attract them most.

-I chose to use the 5column grid format because of the size of the paper and it is also the size of tabloids. I wanted my target audience to feel familiar with the size to attract them.
- I decided to use the feature from the 'i' newspaper showing the different contents of the newspaper as it shows the target audience the different sections of the newspaper that might attract them to read it.
- I decided to create a big space for the image as it is what the audience prefers rather than text according to my audience research. The text on either side of the main image makes it easier for the audience to read, and does not appear like a large amount of text.
